Dr. Erin Stewart is a California State Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist, a NCCAOM Board-Certified Acupuncturist and owner of Alamere Acupuncture in Mill Valley. She specializes in orthopedics, pain management, hematology and mental wellness support. She has completed advanced training in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries and pain with Dr. Whitfield Reaves, and is certified in Advanced Auriculotherapy (ear acupuncture), a modality with applications for treating pain and insomnia developed by Dr. Paul Nogier. Her doctoral studies entailed researching and testing a novel approach for the treatment of iron-deficiency anemia with Chinese Herbal Medicine.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Erin sees patients at Alameda Acupuncture alongside her mentors Dr. Jenny Nieters, team acupuncturist for the San Francisco 49ers, and Dr. John Nieters, chronic and degenerative disease specialist. Beyond her special interests, she runs a general practice and offers treatment for a wide variety of conditions.
